In a worthwhile investigation, students ask what will be compared, collect or inspect relevant evidence, interpret a pattern and evaluate the strength of their conclusion. A virtual simulation should let pupils change a variable and observe consequences rather than simply reveal a prewritten answer.
Use a shared projected investigation or printable record where appropriate, and check each lesson's material needs before teaching. A digital model can be useful, but it is not a replacement for all hands-on science or for the teacher's scientific explanation.
Lessons have teacher plans and resources such as slides, investigation records and exit questions. Class management and saved student work require approved free teacher access. See the school information page for privacy and classroom setup limitations.
Read the public teaching topics and check the science question, classroom materials and curriculum links. Browsing is free; a teacher account is needed to assign work to a class.
